Hello !

I knew it was a violent movie, but I was clearly not ready for that first scene. It made me so mad instantly, so after that, each symbol, each bad word (that I had to mute for youtube), each crazy speech, I wanted to jump on my screen and slap the guy. The fact that they mixed the old version of Derek and the new one who wants to change, it was rough for me. I believe in second chances but discovering all of what he said and did, it was disturbing.

And I was clearly not prepared for that end. Congratulations, writers, you made us think that one brother was gonna be killed so we totally forgot that the other one could be threatened also. I kept during the editing the few times that I said stuff which were "premonitions" because it blew my mind during the editing. I knew Danny's future was gonna be the point of this movie. So that end, this symbolic… it's killing me.

I'm still french, so I'm still sorry if my english hurts you.

…well, that was a lot to take in 😅. I’m not sure what else to say. I won’t forget this movie for a long time, that’s for sure.

Man. That ending was great. I do love my tragedies, but that was always so unexpected. My favorite part was really when Derek recognized that his brother died for his mistakes. Even after that, he didn't go back to his hate and blame the people that killed Danny. That was a great reflection of his regret and change. I feel that one scene of Derek saying, "what have I done," or something like that, while holding Danny in his arms was the most indicative part of his change. Loved it. Of your reaction, I feel like your negative response to all the nazi symbols and references is proof of how your educational systems in Europe are doing a great job of trying to make sure that such tragedies and atrocities don't happen again. Which makes me envious, as my own country does not seem particularly interested in learning from the mistakes of the past. Which frustrated me to no end. -_-
