Hello !

Let's say I didn't expect to have Mrs Reynolds back during this episode and I was not a fan of the idea. But I was glad that we went further with her, deeper into her story. The actress is really good and the character is also a good actress, but the character is really too annoying for me, I'm glad we're not keeping her.

The moments between Simon and Jayne were also great : that was maybe the first time that what happened between two characters, during one episode, has consequences into another one for the evolution of their relationship. I loved River's line about being able to kill Jayne only with her brain, the girl is crazy and so great at the same time.

I love that you rolled your eyes in tandem with Mal when yo-saff-bridge was being sweet with husband #3. I feel like that was a collective eye roll for everyone watching it the first time. :))) This is the second time they brought a previous character into the show. I've always wondered if they did so because it was really planned or because they wanted to do it later down the line but already knew (or at least felt) that they were going to be canceled, so might as well do it now. It's always bittersweet rewatching the show. One the one hand it's fun and can be great at times, on the other, I'm reminded about the wasted potential. Also, side note, there's a boardgame for Firefly. It's line is, "Find a crew. Find a job. Keep flying." It has a lot of components and moving parts, but it's a great experience even for people who haven't watched the show. The reason on why I'm bringing this up is because you can hire Saffron, Bridget, OR Yolanda. Her character has the same stats and qualities regardless of which card you have, but only one of them can be in play at any time. So if someone else has Saffron on their crew, but then you hire Yolanda, then Saffron gets removed from that crew. So if you're into boardgames, you can try this one out as I feel like it captures the spirit of the show pretty well.

Wow, someone that Laura is annoyed with more than Mai! I always felt that Saffron was being truthful with Mal when they're talking toward the end, but still uses that time to take his gun from him, but maybe that's just me.
