DRAWING WEEK 35 - HIS DARK MATERIALS (Patreon)

Hello !

I don't know why but I wanted to draw something about His Dark Materials. Maybe because it's soon the "back to school" moment, you know, that moment of the year where you want to be prepared for the new year which is coming, you're saying goodbye to summer and the holidays, and are preparing yourself for going back to work-work-work. If you're still wondering why I'm telling you, I'm coming to it : you know that I read these books when I was young, that it represented a lot to me during that period of my life, that some chapters touched me so much, changed my way of seing things... So yes, time to draw something, that period of the year, I wanted to do something about His Dark Materials.

And, because I already made Lyra and Pan, I had to make now Lee Scoresby. The best of the best. And yes, for those who are watching my videos about this show, you can remember really well that awkward moment : I knew the character would die, I read the book and all, but during the moment, the writers of the show managed to make me believe and/or hope, that it was not gonna happen, that they would take that liberty and couldn't say goodbye to these wonderful character. Turned out I was in total denial and his death broke me. Again.
