Hello !

I made you choose on my Patreon between 3 movies and I'm really glad that you chose this one, guys. I knew that it was a cult one so I wanted to try it one day, and I loved it. I was so impressed by all of the movements of the camera (so many uncut scenes, smooth/slow/long movements etc), how well they mixed sounds (so many silent scenes which are setting the mood, the tension, and suddenly a sound which is disturbing the viewer, and some great musics, only used at the right time), story and characters well built (first part of the movie to describe the situation, second part to eliminate people and we're discovering who is the main character in fact) etc. One only little negative thing : showing Ripley's ass at the end. Unnecessary and disappointing for such a good movie.

I was also really surprised by Ash's secret. I knew something was wrong with the guy, but I guessed the little secret really late and I had no idea of the BIG secret. I don't know if I'm gonna react to the other movies of the franchise, it would interest you ?

Hey Laura, I think you are right about the panty shots, it's the time of the release and the intended vieuwer base.😉 Alien 2 is pretty good also, the rest is not bad.

Hello ! That's really the only negative thing I found to the movie but, because it was at the end and so obvious, I had to talk about it in review. It's showing just how much we evolved with time and now, when you have a female main character, you don't need to show her ass/boobs 🙈

Thanks for sharing ! I totally understand the vulnerability symbolic here and I'm not against the fact they filmed her "stripping" and after in this "outfit". It's the moment after that, the bending moment with her ass appearing, which is unnecessary in my opinion. It's lasting entire seconds, that position, bending, and her ass appearing, like they could have made her stand here, standing up, in her underwears, without her ass appearing at all, I would have been OK with it.

Fun fact: the kitchen scene was a legitimate surprise for the cast. They didn't know about being sprayed with blood and some of them actually thought that the actor was dying during that scene. So when the little alien baby ran away and everyone was just standing around doing nothing, that was the actors actually being surprised. :) Keeping my fingers crossed that the second movie comes up on your list in the future.
