Stick around for your request. If your turn comes up and you're not there for answering my questions (like height/size, hair color, costume, etc. of the character), one of two things will happen; I will make it as per my assumptions or, I will drop it and move onto the next request.

If you can't stick around for your own request - then copy it in the #patron-requests channel if it is your first request this month. Else, copy it to #patron-ideas.

If your request has been pending this month, try making a new request.
