Monthly Breakdown November 2016 (Patreon)

Okay so the payment change with Patreon to pay up front has altered how things need to be done: HOWEVER I think I sorta have the solution.

If you pay X amount in the middle of a month, then--I think--you are locked into that amount for that month. That means that the list is finalized at the END of the month instead of the BEGINNING of the next month. SO, this means that you should NOT have your pledge carry over between months if you want to change your pledge amount.

So far as I can figure, this was not made clear anywhere in their documentation. (it does mention double charging, but no correct procedure for avoiding it) If I am right, then my listing for "November Pledges" should carry the MAXIMUM PLEDGE everyone paid out DURING November, even if they were lowered immediately after, and therefore is the correct list to use for Print-of-the-Month rewards.

However, this makes one things confusing: This seems like it will make the pledge caps meaningless. I have no idea if pledge caps key off of the maximum pledge or current pledge, and if they key off current pledge, then anyone could just make a pledge for the month and then lower to a different level for the next month, keeping the pledge caps technically under maximum.

Well, either way, next year the comic bonus is going to be handled separately from Patreon since this seems to have been crazy.

Housepets book 7 has been published! People who were on the November Special in November will be receiving a signed and sketched copy of it and cross fingers it should get to most of you by Christmas. Print-of-the-Month this month will be a print of the book cover minus text--I'm really proud of this one so I hope you enjoy it.
