Hi everyone! Sorry for the wall of text. There's a TL;DR at the bottom. I know I've already mentioned it briefly but I thought I would give you a real announcement about our second channel, and the reasoning behind making it. We've been making videos for over three years now. Our channel has grown from its origins on Vysanthe's personal YouTube account to the nearly 40,000 subscribers we have today. Since then we've both graduated from university (Vysanthe has even completed a post-grad diploma), and have made a living off various freelance work, maintaining our channel on the side. We feel like it's time to start thinking about our futures. The goal always was to make feature films, and we feel like we have reached a plateau as far as lolita is concerned. We want to make videos that challenge us in terms of direction, cinematography, and storytelling, and lolita skits aren't going to do that. We've often talked about branching out into cosplay, and have even made some short films like that before (ie "Kuroshitsuji - His Butler, Lost," and "We Need to Beat Misty"), and are working on higher concept pieces as we speak (the long-teased Pokemon short). Now it's time to seriously make the transition into challenging filmmaking. We'll still make larger scale lolita videos, but our focus will be shifting to more cinematic pieces. Of course making the kind of films that we want to make will require more money, so we are prepared to crowd fund specific projects. That being said, we don't want to forsake the audience that we've spent so long building, so we created Deerstalker Pictures 2 as a way to continue making lolita videos. It will feature a variety of videos, including unboxings, room tours, analytical analyses of lolita as a subculture, how-to videos with a twist, travel vlogs, and anything else that we can come up with. We're aiming to have a new video out every week. We'll charge monthly, so you end up with four videos for the price of one. What does this mean in terms of Patreon? We want to know what you follow us for, and what content you are happy to contribute to. If you're here for lolita videos should we make a second Patreon page so you're not charged for cosplay videos? Or would you prefer to keep things the way they are, and donate to both? Do you have your monthly cap set so that you wouldn't mind either way? Let us know what you think! As far as rewards are concerned, what would you like us to offer you? We still have the Pokemon Behind the Scenes video coming out, but the BTS videos aren't really working because people have been signing up to Patreon, watching the videos, then cancelling their accounts when it comes time to pay for content, and we just don't have the time to monitor this. Whatever you decide, let us know. And thank you for supporting us :) TL;DR: We created a second channel for weekly lolita videos and we're focusing more on producing cinematic videos for our main channel. Should we split our Patreon into cosplay and lolita so that you don't end up paying for content you're not interested in?

I support you guys mostly because I like you as people and creators and therefore will pretty much support anything you put out. I also have a cap on my support. Disappointing to hear that people are abusing the patreon scheme to get the content without the supporting you :(

Thank you! Yeah it's a shame but there's nothing stopping them. Hopefully we can figure out some nice rewards for those who do contribute :)
