Did I have to turn this into a nightmare? No. Would people like it more if I didn't? Yes. But, this is how it felt to read in my head, so this is what I went with. Do I regret it? No. Will I do it again? Yes. Do I like Xen in Black Mesa? It's complicated.

Turn down your volume if you listen to the sfx2 file, I cranked it much lower for the video, but on the base file itself it's a bit louder. It's still only at like HALF the volume it could be before we even get into PEAKING, so don't get me wrong, it's not full on blowout. Technically, Spike's VO is louder. But, the narration feels very loud due to how the effects hit the ear.
