I actually think I suck shit at voicing Sam - I think there's only one Sam and it's John J. Dick, but I think that's no reason to not have some fun with him, especially since he is my favorite Retro FPS protag after all. I regard Serious Simian as the gold standard for me voicing Sam, because I remember thinking it didn't really sound like Sam at all before posting it and then everyone told me how surprised they were how similar it sounded to him. I think I missed that mark a bit this time, but eh, you know, like I always say... Fuck it.
