SMASH BROS LEAK SERIOUS SAM (Patreon)

I went out of my way to record a video of a screen for that authentic leak experience. I think this may be the first time I ever voiced Sam, but I'm not sure.

To study Sam's voice, I found a clip of John J. Dick in an interview doing the voice, and then pitched it down until it sounded like Sam. I think it was about 15 percent, but I can't remember. I reckoned that my strategy should be to imitate his base voice as the character, and then pitch myself down the same amount. It's trickier than it sounds though, he has a very unique sound. I've gotten better I think, but I'll never be a super accurate match. There's only one John J. Dick.
