Hi everyone! Been a bit since I actually addressed channel stuff directly, so I just wanted to do a quick update here for ya.

I'm skipping a sketch release this week cause I'm prepping for 3 Paradox videos in October, plus probably another regular release or two. This week's Death of Youtube podcast is also late, but still going up.

I fully intend to continue on the KyleVerse sketch arc for the forseeable future. I came up with it as a way to incentivize myself to worry less about the final product of videos and just have fun making them by myself, because that's all I have on hand in this particular phase of my life. I struggle to make things I'm not personally connected to, so adding the meta context of K Corp, sketch chambers, etc. really lets me be more expressive through them while still maintaining goofy weekly comedy bites that you're all used to. For me, it feels more like making comic strips, where it's just quick and fun and I don't have to start from scratch every time. There will still be occasional sketches that don't take place in a weird liminal corporate underworld, which will also still be canonically tied into the """plot""", but this setup just helps me get past some mental blocks that result in me not making anything at all, which isn't good for anyone.

So yeah, this month will be largely Paradox releases cause that's their schedule, and then probably another Baldur's Gate video, of which I have many because I'm also gaming again. The podcast will continue, and my next steps are to introduce a stable schedule for Allison's Home here on Patreon, and then to add in a regular stream time. I just don't want to give myself too many expectations all at once.

As for the others, Allison's enjoying being back at her own job, but is still around and will be present on the channel again later, I'm sure. We're working on helping Thomas and Kait move up here with us, which might take a while, but Matt says he'll be in NYC by November, so hopefully that's not too far away. Ian, Rachel, Ricky, and Jefferey are all pretty settled back in Texas, but the times continue to change, and almost everyone has expressed interest in New York at some point or another, so it's possible the team will reassemble here eventually.

Hope you're all well, and I'm glad you've been enjoying the new stuff! Post-move, I feel like my brain is finally starting a delayed healing process that it's needed for a few years, and I'm excited to be re-exploring my artisitic options again while I sort my shit out. See you soon with a new podcast episode!

I think the KyleVerse arc is great! Both in terms of them being great sketches and the fact they allow you to make stuff you enjoy making. Be well, make funnies, have fun :)

Glad to hear your brain feels like it's healing!!! <3 A Kyleverse arc sounds AWESOME. "All the characters are played by one person" is a pretty big and funny genre on tiktok at the moment, and I think you'll have fun with something similar. Love everything you do!!
