December 'zine, "I, germline" (not final cover) (Patreon)
Content
I'm putting together a new 'zine for December, and as promised, it's about as far away from dealing with "current events" as possible. It'll be a complete cartoon essay more focused on "big questions" about our role on the planet, and maybe how humanity is not quite the universe's main character as much as we'd like to think. This is the sort of thing that brings me comfort in times of high anxiety.
As it states in the headline this isn't the final cover. I'm still working on assembling the issue. What I do know is that it'll be 12 pages long, full color, and digest sized (5.5x8.5), and for my Patrons signed up for the legacy "Fun Time Enthusiast" tier, it'll be a physical issue that I'll send you in the mail. I anticipate this going out to members in mid-December.
I hope that everybody who gets the print comics received my latest issue in the mail, my apologies once again for what a kick in the chest it probably was showing up when it did. Believe me, my thinking was it'd be more of a "haha, that was a bullet dodged wasn't it?"
For non-'zine club members, this is just a quick recap here of how things currently work with the tiers: you can become a digital subscriber for $3 a month and get every 'zine as a downloadable PDF. Or, you can join the physical Monthly 'Zine Club and get a physical copy in the mail, along with an exclusive bonus comic and/or other extras, like a sticker at some point, or postcards, or whatever else I think of to create and include in the packages.
Additionally, I've reinstated the option to subscribe to either level at a discounted annual rate, and if you choose to become a member this way, you will immediately receive a package comics from my ever growing backlist. You can choose five comics from any of my previously published 'zines (while supplies last), or I can put together a package collecting some of my favorites for you!
Thankyou as always for the support, I hope you are all taking care.
Mike
