Back in November Pauline had the chance to visit Cologne and come by for a testshoot. Unfortunately I didn't have much time during that period so we had to schedule the shoot on a cloudy and rainy afternoon. In November not really the best time slot for an available light shoot, still good for enough a for a quick and dirty black and white set.

Pauline is a very dynamic model with fast posing. So with this shooting conditions this automatically leads to some blurry images, but to my opinion, these images enrich the mood of the shoot perfectly. I often struggle with the "too perfect" and sharp pictures that new mirrorless cameras create these days. They look more digital and I'm missing the "organic" look. So the imperfection of these black and white images brings this organic feeling back.

Pauline was really cool. She immediately understood my style of shooting and what I was looking for. Her variety of poses and different emotions was great.

Enjoy!
