Finally I can show you the set with Heidi that I took a few weeks ago. Event though I didn't have to retouch much on this set because I love the raw look, I also didn't have any time at all to care about it, because during last 2-3 weeks I used every free minute to write a for a book about nude photography which will be published in October.

It's really like Murphys law. Whenever I plan a shoot, most of the time I have shitty weather or strongly changing weather conditions. Last thing happened on this shoot with Heidi. That's why the camera settings are so different, that it doesn't make any sense to list them. I had to correct the settings all the time during this little shoot of about 30 minutes.

But I did something different. I bought myself an old Canon 5D MIII and tested it during this shoot against my D810. Well, the focus was a little bit weaker, but the out of cam look was a bit more pleasing to me. I did less changing on the Canon RAW's compared to the Nikon files in this case. Always heard that Canons black and white look is very good right out of cam.

I wonder is some of you might figure out, which pictures where taken my Nikon or Canon, without looking at the metadatas. To make it really difficult, I completely mixed the pictures up 😜

But most of all, enjoy the pictures!

This is such an amazing set, impressive work! Heidi is impressive, I love the sexy atmosphere of the room, the fishnets, the B&W and herself, everything fits together perfectly. Sadly my eye can't really spot the different cameras, I'm just a fan hahah. Also, congratulations on your book!!

Thank you very much Juan Carlos. And don't worry. Noone was able to see the difference between the Canon and Nikon files so far. I showed it to some participants on my workshops and really no-one could see any difference. :)
