Volcanic Walkway, Expert (Patreon)

Hello there, Experts and Masters! This week's map is the Volcanic Walkway (30x32), a  very dangerous platform crossing a pool of lava! My question is, why didn't they just make tunnels around it? What's so special about this lava? How do you even make a platform like this over a pool of fiery death?  What's keeping this stupid thing standing? The world may never know, but my guess is that it was built by idiots using magic. 

Your alternate versions of this map are really neat, they're Caustic and Cave! I especially like the Cave one, it's got underground cavern vibes and feels very atmospheric. It makes me feel like there's some really nasty stuff lurking below the surface, perhaps nasty stuff with tentacles long enough to reach someone on the walkway. The Caustic one is an old classic, a simple recoloring of the lava plus a recoloring of the walkway to make it feel more bronze-ish. And, as always, it's up to you to decide what that green glowing stuff is and what it does to someone who touches it. My money is on rapid mutation!
