Hi folks! This week's map is the Hedge Maze (35x35), a giant maze with several entrances and multiple key points spread throughout the area. I designed this one with the intention that the players would need to find a way to get to each of the key points, starting either in the center or at the entrances, which are located at the center of the borders of the map. If you use these starting points then the paths taken should be fairly varied, requiring players to go on a fairly long journey to get to each one in turn, or maybe they'll take a risk and split up, daring to face whatever dangers that hide in this maze alone?

Obviously, some players may plan on jumping over the hedges, cutting them down, or jumping through, but you have free reign to punish each of these shortcuts however you wish! Perhaps the hedges are made up of a poisonous plant, or the being who created this maze releases monsters into the maze that hunt the cheater. Either way, there's room for you to be creative about how to run this, so have fun with it!

Oh also, I've prepared an extra freebie version of this map for vyou! Seeing as the regular version feels a little too cheerful for use in spooky Halloween adventures, I've provided an extra one with the water in the basins swapped out for blood as well as lots of darker, more grim colors in the rest of the maze.

Alas, the stars are out of alignment. I really could have used this last session, when I had my party running around a maze, trying to avoid the minotaur skeleton that was patrolling it. Still, it's a great map! I'm really happy to support you, because your maps often spark my imagination. Thanks!
