Welcome back folks, for the second Revisited post: an alteration of the Jungle Ruins map! If you haven't seen the first, this is an ongoing series where I go back to one old map per month and change it as per your suggestions. The last one was a fairly simple addition, adding a couple of rope bridges to the Tiered Waterfall map (which still was a little trickier than expected), but this one proved a bit more of a puzzle.  I've swapped out the dirt ground for a more rocky look, cut out the plants (adding details where they used to be), then repainted the water and nearly everything else while I was at it.

It's a bit overwhelming for the eyes, which I try to avoid more these days, but definitely an interesting map. The original map was made as a commission for the jungle lair of an ancient black dragon, and this was the place where they would confront it. With lava, now it makes the perfect home for a red dragon instead (though perhaps a little too crumbly for their tastes). I'd have to brush up on my lava rules, but unless your team is equipped with red tunics I'd bet they wouldn't be very comfortable anywhere in this place.

Holy shit, that looks so cool! I could totally put this in any underdark adventure! I also love that the normal size map fits perfectly on six A3 sheets. ;) (even though I did notice an XS version! :P). Very excited to use this.

I just wanted to let you know I didn't get an e-mail for this post. I don't know if that is intentional or not, but another creator I'm supporting says Patreon has changed their paid/free/notification settings.

As a note, I did get the email. Also, this really feels like the area around Ragnaros. By fire, be purged!

This map is amazing, and it's definitely going to be the fire boss fight in my upcoming game. But is there a PSD or gridless PDF available for adept tier? I'd love to print it with more subtle gridlines, to really let the artwork shine.
