Phew, that was a lengthy one! This particular background took me a little over a week to resize and clean up, so I'm hoping the rest of the resizing work goes a lot smoother. The small palette was a result of my trying harder to restrict the amount of colors used in each graphical asset, which gave it a lot of tiny details and dithering I had to redraw. Anyway, here's the background to our shop menu in Trigger Treat, where the player will be buying upgrades and unlocks. It's also got the highest concentration of outside references where they'll be hidden away behind other graphics, so peek at them now! We tried out best to keep them from popping up in the main game in any overt way.

So you basically had to redraw the whole thing exactly the same, just in a bigger size? What it difficult trying to get every single detail perfect to the original?
