Feathered Fiends (Patreon)

Okay here's the last of the theoretical ideas! When we left Trigger Treat last year, we were toying around with the concept of orbital powerups and how they'd fit into the gameplay style we'd already crafted. I figured it'd be a good opportunity to work in some spooky birds, since they tend to be underrepresented in Halloween media these days. Owls and crows used to be front and center when it came to Halloween imagery! Since we haven't yet decided on what functionalities we like best for these orbitals, I've only animated the crow so far, and will be doing the owl only if we manage to come up with a unique gameplay niche for it to fit.
