I realize you have many videos planned, but I feel like you're setting yourself up for a video on the Mother series and something on Pocket Card Jockey. That aside, I appreciate this perspective on FrLg. When I played them as a kid, I was of the mindset that I was never going to be able to complete the Regional Dex, let alone the National Dex so the limitations didn't really affect me. With the mentality here though, it's completely justified to hate the limitations on what you can use throughout your journey.

I’ve noticed that your gen 1 talk doesn’t often include Yellow. As someone planning to try to 100% the games for the first time in a decade+, anything I should know about Yellow being a bad choice or anything?

I answered this in the discord, but for anyone else who is curious, I don't replay Yellow as much because it limits your team combo just a bit more to have Pikachu taking up a slot each time. There's not much different about Yellow otherwise, so I prefer R&B :)
