I was surprised by the response to the unscripted video I posted this month! It was warmly received and I am very relieved and grateful for the love. To be honest, I had been contemplating for a few years now making unscripted monthly videos one of the Patreon rewards similar to how other creators handle it: $2 and up can watch, $5 can vote on topics for the unscripted video, and the existing $20 tier could suggest topics for others to vote on to decide what the monthly video is about. I now feel emboldened by the response to this months video to start really building up this Patreon with exclusive unscripted content.

My plan is to institute the tiers as described above, with pledges to be charged still only when a main channel video is put into early access here. This way I am not charging monthly, but still per-main channel upload. The bonus videos would not be included in what I charge for. The main function of these from a business standpoint is to create value for being a Patreon member so people feel like they get more out of supporting the main channel videos. I still have no desire to charge on a monthly basis without uploading content publicly, just from a creative perspective, I do not want the pressure of that.

I may occasionally still make unscripted main channel videos as well, if for example an essay needs more time to cook and all other ideas have been exhausted, or in this case I plan to release one more unscripted video now talking about memorable teams that I raised in past games so that I can announce these new tiers on the main channel and encourage people to pledge in order to see the bonus content. But there will always be an accompanying bonus video uploaded here for each main channel upload so that each video cycle at least one bonus video is made.

So currently, my plans for next videos are:

-Feral woman obsesses over her favorite Pokemon teams from past playthroughs: Unscripted video which will announce the new Patreon tiers, bonus videos, and voting system. I plan to also use this video as an opportunity to streamline the process of recording and editing unscripted videos to make them take less time to produce so that they do not impede on the production of essays. The bonus video topic submission and voting cycle begins with the public release of this video so that bonus videos can begin the following month.

-Pokemon and public health part 1 - Pokemon fitness devices: Covering the Pokewalker and other similar Pokemon pedometers and how they fit thematically into the series. This video would have the first accompanying bonus unscripted video exclusive to Patrons. It is currently in progress with a 9 page script (approx 30 minutes), delaying it one month will make it possible to get footage of a very rare event in which a million steps is achieved on one of the pedometers. Script still requires revision as more information about each pedometer is collected and final runtime may change.

-Pokemon and public health part 2 - Pokemon public health incidents: Covering Porygon's episode and others, with another exclusive unscripted video. Also currently in progress with a 9 page script (approx 25 minutes) although this includes pages to document sources. This one is about half way written as I have only finished writing about 2 of the 4 topics the video covers.

-Pokemon HGSS video: Probably self explanatory but I am currently recording game footage for a full review of HGSS. Vidit is researching this and some of the info we originally intended to be in this one may end up in Public Health Part 1. And as you have no doubt already caught on to the idea, there will be a Patreon exclusive unscripted video to accompany this one as well.

I will likely need to fine tune the timeline of when the topics need to be submitted by and when the voting will begin and commence and when each video will be released, but I will post another update with more information once that is worked out. This along with our continued bookclub HGSS playthrough in the discord should hopefully add a lot of value to this page and make it worthwhile to pledge. Those of you who exist in these tiers already will get full access to the new privileges that come with them, and hopefully many will be motivated to join and grow our little community here!
