Current Situation (Related to FA Journal)/Update (Patreon)

About a day ago I had posted a journal on FA, it was a bit spur of the moment to just get some quick stuff off my chest, you can read it here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10509286

To say the situation has ballooned since that post would be putting it lightly.

In the last twenty four hours my family has had to watch my older sister like a hawk, we left her alone for 5 minutes and she had cut off all of her hair. She was telling us that God and her inner voices were telling her she had to do extremely disturbing things, self mutilation, etc. She believes the current year is still 2021, among other things. So she has completely relapsed into a state of schizophrenic psychosis.

After a long afternoon of us taking turns keeping watch and discussing the situation with the healthcare phone line, my parents took her to an out of town larger hospital and now it is back to the waiting game and hopefully resuming a cycle of treatment. I don't know how this will all play out so I apologize in advance if I am sluggish to respond to things.

Now the actual topic at hand I would like to discuss with you all here.

As mentioned in the FA journal I have been sketching out a rough CYOA style comic.

I don't know how far or how large this project will get, or if I will even ever ink the entire thing cleanly. But I would like to keep the majority of it as a patreon bonus for the time being, at least until it is more refined and presentable. I haven't really planned out this comic at length, so each new page is kind of a spur of the moment creative decision, so the art itself from page to page may completely vary in consistency and have very rough panel quality.

Generally the story is a loose one, tentatively titled: The Donkey Machine. Based off of the tweet on my AD Twitter, and I guess that general theme of factory tf scenario: https://twitter.com/Ruroukie/status/1638857128688463872

The comic is about a fairly mundane guy waking up strapped down to a mysterious factory line machine. What's that machine's one and only purpose? To change people into donkeys, of course. However, about 6 pages in you have a chance choose for him to resist. And then the story will break away into exploring the multiple "endings" that exist within the factory of the machine. Do they only make donkeys here? Who's in charge? Will he find an antidote to his initial changes? Or will his actions only lead to even more temporary/permanent changes?

Once I have cleaned up a bit of the text of the rough pages and drafted a little more of the branching path out, I will be deciding where I should post the rough files directly to patreon, or create a comic wip zone, with a "Thick Crust Deluxe" patreon tier exclusive discord role for my art channel discord where the rough sketches can be posted/discussed/updated a bit easier. Regardless, I will aim to post most of what I have already in April when I have a plan and a bit more time to sit down and organize my uploads.

I am open to hearing your thoughts on how I should handle this project, since this comic project is mostly entirely for fun and I wouldn't mind hearing goofy suggestions of bad endings you would like to potentially see as it gets expanded upon!
