Clothes Folds 01: Pinch Folds (Patreon)

Returning with the behind the scenes posts after a pause.

Time ago a patron asked me how I draw clothes or if I had any tips I could give for that. Its a complex theme to talk tips and I've been thinking in how it can be explained easily my approach to drawing them, finally it occurred to me in dividing in three types of clothing folds posts:

1. Pinch folds (obligatory folds) (<this post).
2. Force folds.
3. Optional folds.

In the end combining the three types of folds following some simple rules is what I do to decide where to put clothing folds, which I think is the part most people struggle when drawing clothes.
