Leg Anatomy 01 – Upper Leg *Updated (Patreon)
Content
There is a lack of references showing all views of leg's anatomy that include all muscles (the ones I find focus on a single section or view). I decided to make my own reference with front, inner, lateral and posterior views to help visualize which muscles are visible on each side and how they go around the leg or cross each other.
The way I like to think of the upper side of the leg is to divide it in 4 groups (front muscles, back muscles, inner tight muscles, hip muscles). This way is easier to remember overall leg shapes than to remember each individual muscle.
In any case, I also named each individual visible muscle here for study purposes (or for those curious who want to search more info on one in specific).
