Another of my feedback polls I mentioned this week, just out of curiosity but... If I were to move out of Patreon, would you follow me to other sites*?

Unfortunately I can’t join another Patreon-like-site as that would compromise some personal data.

should have a probably option since it just really depends on what site

Anonymous

Really depends on the alternative.

wugfish

It would largely depend on where you ended up going. If I felt I could trust the new site, yes absolutely!

Anonymous

It depends on what side(can i trust that side) and what kind of payment options they offer.

StormCat

I'm a bit ignorant to all the options, but what would be the advantages of changing platforms? Don't have to name any specific platforms, just what features or other improvements they could hypothetically have.

Anonymous

Policy enforcement. Patreon had banned/hindered creators before and cited policies that either didn't exist at the time or weren't applicable. Some alternatives aren't nearly as prone to this

As long as I keep the rewards I have generated here? Then I am alright with it, though I will miss everything coming out in one transaction I understand if another platform offers you better support as a creator.

ancesra

I see, some people have comment that aspect too, but will taken into account of course.

ancesra

Good idea now that is mentioned, but polls can not be changed once created

ancesra

If it were by me I would never leave, but Robert is right. Just a what if, worst case scenario since one never knows if a platform changes policies.

ancesra

Noted. Though you mean access all previous images, points or another type of rewards?

Anonymous

Points would be my main concern, other than that just plenty of notice.

Banshee

Not really sure if I trust other platforms would be the main concern. They might be fine now, but nothing is stopping them from souring in the future. And some have vague rules that might or might not apply to say, furry/kemono...

That said, I'd follow to any other reputable alternative.
