Process for the image with a workflow alternating between Photoshop and SAI.

Not much to say about composition except I wanted a wave–like flow like in the first frame showing the initial gesture. Also I used the chair to help balance the overall composition, with the character's head on one side (facing inward) and the chair on the other side of the image.

I use three calibrated monitors, but even like that there are minor variations in color that I correct at the end on my main monitor. Plus I like to experiment other colors themes in this last step so sometimes the color mood changes a lot from what I had in mind in the first versions.
