Now, I don’t know how many Danish or even Scandinavian patrons I have, and I am not at all sure if any will get it, who isn’t danish.
See, I recently watched an old favorite animated movie from my childhood. Denmark doesn’t have a good home grown collection of animated movies, nor do we have a large one, but several pearls do stick out, and some characters worth noting.

See, in Denmark we sorta had a great tradition to sorta give zero fucks about pretty much anything. Those were the good old days. We didn’t sugarcoat reality, and we sure didn’t go around unpleasantries. You march right through it. Honestly, watching some old danish animated movies I have to give them credit for their ice cold attitude.

That said, I am not overly a fan of the most of them. Simply because the style they are drawn in are really… odd…
But this movie stood out. It wasn’t odd. It was clear and very easy to tell, and it was honestly - back then - rather funny 😄 especially for a child. Later, I got a few laughs in, when I saw some jokes pointed to the adults.

This scene is from a movie called ”Jungledyret Hugo 2” - “Hugo the Jungle animal 2”.
It was the second movie, and in my opinion the better one. Not that the first one was bad, because it wasn’t. It was really good, I just like the second one better. 🤭

Miss Nutzi is an actress dog… or dog actress. She is a dog, who is an actress. And in the movie she is to teach Hugo how to behave and act in a movie he is the star in. She has the greatest voice of all. Really deep, slightly hoarse and with a charming flair.
She is fairly well animated and she is also… kind of a flirting girl… 😏
What she says in the movie is kind of… well… mature-ish, but kids doesn’t get it at all. I never got it as a child. I just thought it was fun.

I hope you like it. And if you have seen the movie then great 😄 If you haven’t then… I am not sure if it is streamable outside of Denmark, but I guess with a VPN it’s possible… 🤔 But the trick is to find a version that isn’t dubbed in danish.
