Amelia has always been a favorite from the show. Much of her personality is pretty much whatever you can make up and her history in the canon is nonexistent, so anyone can pretty much give her any kind of back story.

I was drawn to that back when I first saw the show and now. We have named her Amelia Rodriguez and she is pretty much a brat - like Bonnie, but with tweaks and turns in her arc. She is presented in the show as a close friend/friendemy of Bonnie, as they have slight ups and downs. She is a little older than Bonnie.

I always imagined she knew Bonnie’s sisters in high school and was to them, what Bonnie is to her. An heir apparent. But I also kinda figured she and Bonnie met at Ballerina class. Bonnie is a dancer, and I have made Amelia in RSAHNP a dancer as well, but she is less into the classic style and more into intimate dancing. Tango, salsa and what have you.

In mythology (Greek) I side Amelia’s beauty as that of either Andromeda or Psyche. Both were mortal women so beautiful they occurred the wrath of the gods. Aphrodites I think. The goddess of love is surprisingly vain and insecure. But, so are all the gods I Greek mythology. I sometimes imagine the gods back then to be like the celebrities today. All for the entertainment.
