For some odd reason, the scene where Ed saws a hole in the dimensions and create a wormhole to the Kankers in the tub has always stuck with me. Even more so, the comment from Eddy as he snickeringly asks Ed if he saw ‘anything’. I guess when I was a kid I didn’t quite understand what Eddy was talking about, as I didn’t see the ed’s as that old. But as I grew older and watched it, and also as I became an adult I understood exactly what he meant 🤭🤭🤭
kinda ruins the idea of total animosity between the Ed’s and the Kanker’s. They were growing boys and even in the show they were displayed as being in that incredibly annoying faze when girls are both the center of the universe and a dark hole of infinite destruction whose mere close proximity will destroy you.
Of course they are curious about such stuff. I sorta always wondered if the Kankers perhaps were all a little older than the Ed boys. I‘m thinking like one year. They seemed a little more developed in their interest of the opposite gender… then again, girls mature faster than boys. They were perhaps just the same age… ish…
🤗🤗🤗

I LOVED Ed Edd’n Eddy when I grew up. I also love them now. Not too long ago I could stream the entire show on a service and I remember I loved it. I also saw the last seasons for the first time, and even though I have heard some critic of the last seasons, I fully enjoyed them. In fact. The boys back in school had filled a blanc in my mind. How long does their summer last? And when they returned to school, I felt they were far more real and interesting. And also funnier. So I am perhaps one of the few, who prefer the Ed’s back in school.

a funny anecdote about translation mistakes 😂 in my country, the word for ‘bone’ and ’leg’ is the same.

Lee Kanker has a word of wisdom from their mom in the episodes where the Ed’s try to get rid of the girls by behaving lovey dovey.

Lee says: mom was right, throw a man a bone and he‘ll mess up the carpet.

in the danish translation she says something that could be understood as to…

Lee: Give a man a leg and he spills on the carpet.

Spills as in… he humps it out… and then…

Aaaas you might can expect of me, and my perverted teenage mind, I sorta got the impression that Mrs. Kanker was rather blunt when describing the behaviors of men to her girls… 😂😂🤣🤣 as said, I misunderstood. Lee was in fact talking about a bone, like a dogs bone. But I didn’t hear that until I started streaming in different languages.
What I thought was a very naughty comment, was in fact just my own mind playing dirty tricks 🤭🤭🤭

Anyhoo, sorry for the anecdote.

I hope you like this drawing.
