Videl from DBZ (Patreon)

I have no explanation for this one… I have been doom scrolling a lot… and… I saw a video of multiple scenes with Videl and Gohan - arguably one of my favorite couples of all time.

Fun fact, I have always been a DBZ fan, but I have actually never seen the animated series… ever… not in full.

But I always loved Videl and Gohan. They were like a perfect match. Also because they actually are a lot alike.

Gohan is an intellectual forced by circumstances to become one of Earths strongest defenders.

Videl is a girly girl who is forced by circumstances to become a tough girl.

Do not get me wrong, I love all of Videl, but I always sorta thought the reason she had to be tough and strong was mainly due to the frustration of being Mr Satan’s daughter. She had to be strong to deal with her lot in life.

Videl was not allowed to date or have a boyfriend unless he could defeat her father. And Satan because of his reputation, scared of any would be suitors to her.

So Videl, in frustration became a crime fighter and even stronger than her father - who to be honest probably wouldn’t even be able to defeat the Turtle Hermit Master Roshi. But all series needs a comic relief.

Gohan and Videl are so lovely.

But then again - I have no idea why I felt I needed to try this one out.
