Sorry for being late with this again, I know everyone is eagerly waiting for this animation, so much so that it lead to some unneccesary drama. I'm still having a lot of doubts over if it's good enough. For now though, this version of what I have is hopefully good enough to be worth posting even though it still contains errors and lacking overall polish. The plan is to post this as well as the rest of the animation all the way up to the planetary section this month and then finish up the animation next month by adding the story related sections and prelude, you can see by the old intro from the WIP that I haven't implemented it into the animation yet. Of course I will also try to post a few surprises along the way so the wait isn't as excruciating as it seems to be.

I hope that the animation so far has been worth the wait, I want to make sure that you are happy with it as it seems to be the animation that everyone is looking forward to the most. Also I changed the name of the animation since everyone just calls it "aegir" anyway. Please let me know what you think!!

Also to address any unnessecary concerns, the animations will be made, published and handled normally as they always have, please don't take any conspiratory online discussions seriously. Thank you for your generous support!!!

Congratulations Lajest, this first part is looking phenomenal, I love that you have applied the split screen to show us what Aegir sees and at the same time, another exciting angle. Seeing it grow little by little is something very exciting, you have perfectly captured its power in its size, as it grows, it becomes more powerful, also, the angles chosen here capture the feeling of a huge size as with Fischl, I have a lot of desire to see the full animation when it comes out, but I can tell you with certainty that the animation is excellent so far, But I would like you to keep the shine of the eyes of the previous WIP, it gave a greater feeling of power. Good luck and enjoy what you do.

Nice. I like that we get to see the entire growth process this time instead of an abrupt transition. It definitely looks more polished too. Here's to hoping that everything goes well for this one and that delays don't ruin your schedule. 😁

That initial POV sequence gets me every time! You did an excellent job ‘filling out’ the scene as it ‘came together’ nicely in the end. Reflecting on your use of windows, their means of simultaneously showcasing first and third person was an ingenious display of seamlessly blending the two genres together. Without a step out of place the stomp switch was incredibly smooth and kept the pace with great strides taken once again in delivering to heel another striking transition. There’s something to be said about clear continuous cuts in communicating continuity! The growth from her point of view was a treat to be sure. Abrupt jerks, pauses and body shifts making for powerful reactions as quick successive actions. The use of such subtleties giving just enough of an indication before the delivery. It’s an excellent inherent way of alluding to the growth giving the entire move a certain energy to it while the bobbing of the camera provides a distinctive clumsy and uncontrolled feeling fulfilling one’s head in the cloud’s moment. It was breaking past these fluffy white masses that grounded the scene for me. This is where the perspective, in her case, really stood out as the world takes on a drastically different shape seemingly changing from 2D to 3D. Speaking of planes, or rather the flying kind, it was fun to catch the helicopter in an earlier shot before it’s more direct introduction. Once again showcasing the sequential living breathing world that has been built, paying off in what was a wonderful little delayed comparative mark. Admittingly, I did find some of the split perspective a little daunting to take in at times as the sheer amount of action happening often left me feeling lost between which side should take my focus. There are excellent opportunities to utilize the split, though I can see this being used more sparingly. I thought your idea to shake up the divide by flipping the screens kept it fresh while having the direction of the camera matching up to the side of the display made the transition easy on the eye. It was absolutely worth the wait! I much prefer seeing you have the time to let loose and create. It’s in these moments where you experiment and grow that really shows, with this as no exception. The amount of first person was a good such test. As a standalone, I think it would be a bit too much for my preference as I do find myself enjoying the usual far shots and others' point of view more but in its’ longer sequence, I can see it working well. I do miss that extra personal flair in the title however seeing as the community convention does seem fitting, it makes for a nice nod to the chatter~ It’s fair to say that you crushed it! 🎯👠
