Ring of Fluid Expression: One-Sided. (Patreon)

Greetings All!

Second ring of the week! I’ve been wanting to do a simple and low rarity ring for this very thing for a bit now. Making it activation over a Long Rest helped with the rarity, though it would be an Upper Tier Uncommon.

Contacted a dear friend of mine for some sensitivity reading, and here we are. I remember in previous editions (or maybe just an OoTS story) there was a gender swapping item, I wanted to update it for a more modern take. While this isn’t perfect by any means, it's something.

Description:

This simple silver band holds a single shining opal, reflecting colors vibrantly with a simple change of light. This ring and those like it have made their way through many hands since the beginnings of recorded history. To the bearers of these rings, they have had something essential placed into their hands; the ability to express themselves as they wish.

• Fluidity: Over the course of a Long Rest, the user can focus on their outward expression of self. Doing so, the user can change their Appearance and Voice to match this imagery. They can adjust their general height, body shape, and sex characteristics without replicating the exact appearance of another creature. These changes do not alter their abilities or statistics. This effect lasts until the ring is removed or the user activates this feature once more.
