Greetings All!

This has been in my head for a long time, but the mechanic took quite a bit of noodling to lock in.

After it finally clicked to make it a critical ability, I got underway and with a special thanks to my Discord Editors! I really appreciate the assistance of Spectre Creations added for getting around some of the listings of Innate Spellcasting, and helping reign in my sometimes confusing takes.

Description:

A smatter of glimmers across this purple blade gives it the appearance of the captured stars. While the technique has been lost, it was said to be created by adding magical gems to the forging of Meteors or Star Metals. This unique treatment is exactly what gives these blades their namesake and the ability to capture magic. The strength of the enchantment is often measured by the brightness of the violet depths or any visible cracks within the blade.

Tabs:

• The user gains +1 bonus to Attack and Damage Rolls made with this weapon.
• Spell Reap: When the user scores a Critical Hit against a Spellcaster with this weapon, it consumes the lowest-level Spell Slot the target has remaining, or the lowest-level Spell if the target doesn't have Spell Slots. Once activated, this property can't be used again until the next Dawn.
  • If the weapon consumes a Spell, it's converted to an equivalent level Spell Slot. While holding this weapon, the user can expend the consumed Spell Slot as normal.
  • The spell slot acquired by Spell Reap will be stored until the next Long Rest.
