Greetings All!

Catching up on the remnants of 2021! Lot to upload including Sci-Fi versions of a handful of items.

These are the same item, with minor art differences and descriptions for multiple settings.

This weekend was #PAXU and I had the utter pleasure of picking up ‘Dark Matter’ from Magehand Press. Who has been a massive boon to me creatively, but before we get into it this is neither a sponsored post nor a paid ad. We both launched KS around the same time, and became quick friends.

Since I didn’t know them at the time, I only had a cursory knowledge of the Dark Matter project. I requested to flavor some magical items towards a 5e Sci-Fi setting, and this was the result. I am seriously loving this book.

The team also gave me a discount code if that tickles your fancy, which means you can grab Dark Matter PDF for 50% off! Just enter Hos (that’s me btw) during checkout! I promise its worth it, this book is beastly.

Updates: Updated Art.

Truly, as always and ever sincerely, Thank You.

Description:

Made famous by an eccentric crafter, who used them for a very specific purpose, the design eventually leaked to colleagues and friends. This cylinder of compressed crystal and tightly crafted metal holds signs of capturing magic through tinkering. This contraption contains an energy that rolls throughout the device and causes vibration even when left unattended, like the roll of a distant thunder.

Secondary:

These grenades were made popular in ship sweeps on the fringes, and used to a shocking effectiveness for taking on hold outs. This cylinder is machined, and tempered before being filled with some of the most voitale of crystal ordinances. Anyone who has been on the receiving end of one of these ‘Knockers’ is not soon to forget it.

Tabs:

  • As an Action, the user can compress the plunger and throw this item up to 40ft to a point of their choosing within range.
  • Shockwave: Upon landing, the device will rip itself apart in an explosion of a 5ft radius sphere. Each creature in this radius must make a DC:15 Constitution saving throw or take 3d4 Thunder damage and be stunned until the end of the user’s next turn. On a Successful Save, they take Half Damage and are not stunned.
  • When activated the resulting Shockwave can be heard up to 150ft away.
