Greetings All!

While revisiting and updating notes, I located one of my original item designs for the first month this weekend! While I never quite knew how I would make it at the time, with some time passed and more confidence in design here we are.

This was always a niche item, but it fulfills so many story tropes that I can’t help but love it. Who doesn’t love seeing a hero down to their last shot pull off something spectacular. As an archer in my youth, I always felt that there was one arrow that I could always count on. This is a little nod to that, and something for those that actually track their arrows. (There are dozens of us!)

Thoughts are very welcome and I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed adapting it!

Updates: Added the rear Fletching to Art, balances better..

I hope you enjoy this one! Truly, as always and ever sincerely, Thank You.

Description:

Every once and a while, there is one. The last to be notched, the first to be found. The one with the frayed feathers and worn shaft. It almost feels like it wanted to be the last found. This is what happens when the cycle repeats, sometimes through a generation. This long used piece of ammunition is often referred to as the Lucky One or the Holdout.

Tabs:

  • This ammunition always seems to find its way to the bottom of the bundle. If purposefully sought out, it functions as a Mundane Ammunition.
  • When this is the last piece of ammunition left in  the quiver, it grants a +1 bonus to Attack Rolls.
  • As long as the user recovers at least 1 piece of Ammunition, this item will be the first found.
