Thunder's Herald: One-Sided. (Patreon)

Greetings All!

I was made aware by my Discord that there is in fact a boomerang without a base item floating around in the 5e books, but already being underway and it’s not an SRD so we kept after it.

Building the Base:

• Based around a Simple Weapon: Dart (Discord vote 1d4)
• Originally a 30/80, bumped to 60/120 on discovering Google listed range up to 130.
• Arch: No real base language to go off of for attacks from the side of cover, so balanced as able.
• Loop: Little love and homage paid to the joys of the 3.5e/NWN boomerang.

Thunder’s Herald’s Balance:

• Loose properties similar to the Uncommon Javelin of Lightning
• With an additional +1 and a variant homebrew version of returning for a Rarity Bump.

As always, input and feedback is forever welcomed!

• Updates: Minor Color Tweak, Grammar Catch, and erased a few stray Highlights.
