Greetings All!

Update 4/8/21: Grammar tweak to the description.

Back with my 8th legendary item and 2nd Legendary Shield! It’s been 5 weeks since my last shield, you know I was getting the itch.

While, I normally stay to lower tier items, but this has got to be one of my favorites so far. The visual, and the mechanics  took a while to nail down, but I have only grown to like them more and more. Inspired by some local tales and seeing more sea based campaigns, especially from CR as of late.

All Hands: Between the visual and multiple uses, I just love this thing. I hope it comes in handy at your tables. Built to have a key feature, a drawback, and three smaller but unique features to really drive home the unique feeling for players. I can’t get over the idea of the hands crawling about the wheel and adhering it to the user, but only being seen in specific circumstances.

Underside: As far as I know, this has been done before and was a first for me. Inspired by the Edmund Fitzgerald, which is referenced in the quote as well as a touch of the Black Pearl. I put as much information as I could using the older SRD’s and other materials. Please feel free to extrapolate as needed to bring it fully up to speed with some newer 5e content as the DM see fit (+/- 15ft wind speeds, actions, gear, or weapons.) Building blocks and some possible hooks referenced! If this goes to print, I will hire out a ghost ship commission but for little old me after a 24 hours jam session on this card and art. I’m tapped and happy as is!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have been. As always, input and feedback is forever welcomed!

  • Updates: New Art, but still retouched because I really liked this one.
  • Art: Fixed the weird pixelation of some of the highlights, line art coloring, and some clean up.
  • Card: Spelling Fixes, Alignment Adjustments, +Variants!

Hope you enjoy it! Truly as always, thank you all.
