Greetings All!

If you want to feel very old, very quickly, I could tell you that next week will mark 6 years since Dragon Age Inquisition came out. Thusly here is the Blade of Tidarion!

In honor of one of my big defining games in the sense of style and lore, this is my attempt at adapting it to 5E. Originally part of the DLC, I had a lot of fun with this on my later playthroughs. The only option for a wizard staff that gets up close and personal with a magic blade.

Originally built around a greatsword, it was adapted to make it usable by a bladesinger who I consider the Knight Errant from DA. It also is light and finesse based in part off some of the mesmerizing dancing from @titos_firedancer on Instagram as a bladesinger and doing my best to make it less of a lightsaber-ish in use.

The damage output was scaled against the Flametongue (4d6 as a Rare) and the Spiritual Weapon. I ended up splitting the difference and doing my best with it, I would love to hear your thoughts and hope you like it!

  • Updates: New Item (Straightened ingited hilt - from Insta Post)

Blank, Name, BKG, and All (With Variants)  separated as per usual for use.

Hope you enjoy it! And truly, as always, thank you all.

- Hos (Dungeon Scribe)
