Hey everyone!  I have a question that I need your help with!

For lewd comics, do you prefer a story that is continuous, and tries to tell a longer, evolving story?  Or do you prefer a short, concise and straight to the good stuff type of comic?

With most of my comics, I spend the first few pages setting up the world and characters to have some semblance of a plot.  Now that I've setup a few worlds with these basic backgrounds, I've been thinking of ways to make the pages I create more engaging and well, satisfying if you catch my meaning ;D

One idea would be to have each 5 page segment be its own short contained story with a focus on a particular fetish/lewd situation!  Sort of like episodes of a show!

For example, one chapter could be Toriel experiencing a massive weight-gain, and the next chapter could be focused on trying to fit into her old clothes, and the next could be dealing with the unexpected attention her voluptuous body draws as she runs errands in town!

What do you think?  What type of comic format would you prefer?  I made a poll with two options I've been contemplating, but if you have additional ideas, be sure to let me know!

I want to improve my comics to be as lewd, and satisfying, and appealing as possible!  So if there's any areas you think could be improved, please lend me your critiques!

Thank you so much for your input and support!  You make each and everything I create possible!  I cannot thank you enough!

I think having a new theme each time would help bring something new and be a bit easier rather than having extensive planning for one big bunch ^^

I like a long story driven comic that's punctuated by occasional sex scenes, but the story is still the #1 priority over the porn. But I do think webcomics are maybe not the best medium for story telling, because they're so labor intensive. Have you ever thought about an illustrated story? By which I mean you write out a full written story, and have a drawing every few pages. Like this for instance https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49603400/

That's a great idea! I've always loved writing stories, each of my comics actually start out as a multi-paged story before I begin drawing anything! Inevitably, I always find myself running out space when I'm drawing the comic to convey all the plot elements and details I'd like. This always leads to a simplified version of the story being told in the comic form, and I feel like I wasn't able to fully express all the elements of the story properly! Another issue is that years worth of work on a webcomic can amount to a very short period of time in the actual plot, making story progression extremely slow! I'm tempted to try out an illustrated story format in the future, it has the potential to allow for much higher quality art, and better story telling as well! Thanks for your insights and suggestions Furonymous, you've given me a lot of ideas for new possibilities for the future!

I agree! It would definitely allow for more ideas to be explored and make it easier to plan each chapter! I also like that it would bring something new each time! I've got so many new ideas I'd like to try out and having each chapter be something new would definitely help try out fresh ideas and lewd situations! Thanks for reaching out Abyssal!
