The Griffin's Nest (Adventurer) (Patreon)

Farmers have complained to the village alderman, and a spate of livestock thieves have been plaguing the countryside, cattle, sheep, and hogs inexplicably missing from the fields. It isn't until a village youth spotted a giant griffin swoop from the skies to grab its surprised supper that the alderman commissioned a mercenary to slay the beast, but that was weeks ago, and the sellsword hasn't been seen since. Now, the coffers are much diminished, but an enterprising adventurer might be persuaded to hunt down the nest for the safety of the townsfolk, or perhaps because a griffin's egg is indeed an incredibly rare and expensive bounty, enough to tempt even the most shrewd traveler.
