The Strange Study (Knight) (Patreon)

This messy study is innocent enough for an evil necromancer, even if the macabre display and notes indicate an unnatural interest in the use of corpses, but perhaps the lonely scholar that resided here simply has an infatuation with the mechanics of humanoid anatomy. Only the most assiduous and perceptive adventurers might figure out that there lies a hidden chamber behind a swinging bookshelf, one that houses not only the departed scholar's experiments, but the phylactery pool slowly assembling a new body for the soul to inhabit now that the ritual of lichdom has been completed... 

 I've tried a new digital painting style for this map that I'm enjoying quite a bit. I hope you all like it as much as I do, and I'd like to work in this way a little more in the future. Happy gaming!
