On the North end of the castle, a small, enclosed forest surrounds a frozen pond, and a large, pale tree with red leaves, and the chiseled grim features of a face on its trunk. In summer, the forest floor is rich and green, but in the dead of winter, a thick layer of snow and ice drape the ground. A perfect location for meditative moments by the tranquil waters, and clever ambushes for unwanted visitors.
