So, how about the next (and final) page ends with the men boarding the boat back to the mainland. All battered. some in wheel chairs, some holding IV bags. Others in crutches or comically large hip fracture casts. A bunch of foxgirls would be by the pier, waving and crying their goodbyes. Some of them could be -our- foxgirls. Rika-san, Hiki chan and her mom, bimbo and gyaru chan. Ojou-sama would be looking at the horizon from a rail on the street, further back from the pier, next to Rezu and Yuri chan. Then we could see the goths back at the store. of course they wouldn't care about seeing them leave, so they'd just be minding their business. I imagine Maru would be persuading Gosu and Mari to quit smoking for the sake of their soon to be goth foxbabies, to Gosu and Mari's dismay. Kujo and Ju chan could just be staring out their kitchen window, as they handle bentos to their three kits (each) who are back home now, about to leave for school. The page would be mostly silent, with Deniz monologuing about what an amazing and strange trip it was. How they're leaving this almost-magical land behind, And how he hopes the foxgirls get what they wished for.

I was thinking (probably /overthinking/) we could further push the bittersweetness of it all if Deniz clarifies something. What stops people from coming back every year to see -their- kits? Or just keep breeding foxgirls over and over? Someone with enough money could pull that off. The government/"Nihon foxgirl conservation institute" wouldn't want that. They need the broadest possible gene pool to guarantee the foxgirl's long term success. So I imagine they would restrict repeated visits to tourists. So, Deniz could mention something like: "The japanese government won't let breeding week attendees return, for at least the next five years. The Nihon foxgirl conservation institute's website says its to foster as much gene diversity as possible. I imagine they also don't want a bunch of foreigners falling in love for their foxgirls and staying for longer than necessary, so this is goodbye, at least for a very long while."

For the very last frame of the comic though, after the bitter part is over, deniz could say... "...Yet nothing stops us from visiting the OTHER themed islands... Next year: Raccoon Island!! cuts to a similar shot to page 1 frame 4. It's a bunch of "Mugger variants" waving signs and cheering. I thought of rabbit girls first, because there's an actual rabbit island. Or cats, because there is /also/ a cat island. But i feel it's more weeb to go with raccoons because of the tanuki/kitsune dichotomy in japanese culture. (i know tanukis are more dogs than raccoons, but nobody will care!! its an island of muggers!!) and make interesting nods at things like the mythological battles between tanukis and kitsunes https://hyakumonogatari.com/2013/07/30/kori-no-tatakai-kitsunetanuki-battles/ So we end the comic in a more cheery note, and leave the door open for a sequel. just in case.

and I can't wait to see the milfs as normal unassuming moms who aren't nefariously horny

maybe it won't fit onto the page, but I'd like to see one panel of a foxgirl cheerfully shopping for baby clothes. Maybe Bimbo-chan
