Steve Boutet

Always loved this movie. Saw it in the theaters. Was NOT marketed to kids. Definitely groundbreaking when it came to the marriage of toons and humans. The deal between Disney and Warner Bros was that their 'stars' had to have equal time, which is why you had Donald and Daffy Duck in the same scene. Mickey and Bugs Bunny, etc....there were also a few characters that didn't belong to either studio like Betty Boop (the black and white character in the bar). Roger, Jessica, Benny the Cab, Baby Herman and a few others were original characters for the movie. There are some excellent vids on the making of this movie that I'm sure you find really interesting. Thanks for the nostalgia today!
