In my opinion the second borat is better and so is the Zohan. I also think you would like the wolf of wall street with Leo

DANIEL JAMES

Been too long since I watched this!!! The Gay jokes dont bother me XD Also, Pamela has the most famous sex tape.

I think this should actually be classed as a horror movie - Christian Middle America is terrifying 😳

I actually liked the 2nd movie even more than the first. The pranks on the public get even more outrageous and he actually puts himself in real danger with some of the people he interacts with. Also everyone recognizes him now so he has to dress up in these stupid costumes

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard watching a movie before 😂 I had to look up how much the film was "real", and apparently most of the real folks were told in advance they'd be filming a Kazakh documentary but not how things would go down. And two of the frat boys sued 20th Century Fox lol Speaking of black comedy, I recently watched and greatly enjoyed Jojo Rabbit by Korg from 2019

This is a funny movie and pretty cleverly done. I actually do think it could be made today, it's just always the context that matters. As long as you make fun of those hating/making fun of others then it works, which is what I think this movie does on the whole. Some horrid people in this though. Reminds me a little of Top Gear when they went round Texas I think with cars slapped with controversial stuff to Christians and they pretty much got attacked.

As far as I understand, the only person in on the joke from the beginning was Pamela Anderson. Everyone else was real people who just thought a legitimate documentary was being filmed. Sacha Baron Cohen/the studio have been sued several times but so far have not lost a single one. Additionally, he is actually Jewish so felt that a lot of the things said were more tongue-in-cheek or making fun of stereotypes.
