Have you ever watched the show Spartacus? I could see you really getting into that! It's an amazing show :) Also has a stupid amount of ayo xD

Dang I watched this one very recently on my own! I hadn't hated a character as much as I did Commodus for a very long time, which is to say Joaquin Phoenix did a great job. (I think this was also the first Joaquin Phoenix film I saw. I still refuse to watch Joker lol.) I, too, couldn't unhear He's a Pirate in the score 😂 and it was quite distracting at times... "A Beautiful Mind" is another Russell Crowe film worth checking out

This was a pretty great movie. Getting this and Forrest Gump in so recently feels like I too am ticking these classics off the list quickly lol. Was interesting seeing this story as been hearing about Aurelius recently and how he had such a terrible son. No clue how historically accurate all this is but is cool when you have such things. Acting was pretty solid in this and the story was decent. Can see why it's considered a classic for sure.

This was my Dad’s favourite movie, and the last one we watched together. He spent the best part of two decades working quotes from this movie into everyday life, even giving you a thumbs down if you were pissing him off 😄

I feel like this movie is overrated, it's good but not amazing by any means. TV shows like Rome or Spartacus are amazing, i can see you loving these 2 shows, it's non stop drama and sex lol

I enjoy 300 and well worth a watch, but it has nothing on Gladiator. Want another good Russell Crowe film? You should watch Master and Commander

I'll be skipping 300 - Gerard Butler makes me want to puke. He's just a revolting human. My skin crawls when I see interviews with him. Gladiator is my era, and it took me a long time to appreciate it. It was played to death on TV when it came out of the cinemas. After not seeing it for years I watched it in full again and I finally could see why it was so highly regarded. I really loved the Patriot from the same year with Mel Gibson and Heath ledger.
