These felt like some odd episodes to me with some odd plot points. The way Alexis and Patrick reacted to that extremely tame kiss between Ted and David during a game they setup and participated in, just makes so little sense to me. David trying to pair Patrick off to try things out with other men just didn't feel right either at all for their current situation. I know a lot of people feel the need to test the field and others with different relationship preferences with multiple partners, but with the way they have been and clearly wanting to be monogamous that whole plot felt very out of place. If I was in that situation and David did that to me I would not feel good at all, even if I thought he was doing it for me. This show does feel very different to the earlier seasons now. It's become a romantic drama with comedy elements. Majority of it focussing on romantic relationships now. So I suspect there might be some more odd plot points to test the relationships before the end, where everything probably ends on a super wholesome happy end.
