Honestly went so much quicker than expected and now eagerly awaiting the movie. Would love to hear any animes you want to see here or other anime movies too as I don't really look up much about them online at the moment

I think I generally agree with a lot of your thoughts on it. Has a huge amount of potential for future seasons once we have a grasp on the characters and plot more. I do think the way they introduced characters in this wasn't the best as even the main 3 characters we barely really know, we just have like a one dimensional character view of them mostly and that carries it. A lot of characters as well we saw in one episode, got a minimal backstory and then basically didn't see them again. Sukuna in particular I thought was very odd how he just disappeared for the second half of the season. The main villains as well we know so little about and their mini interactions don't really add much. The plot potential of the start was also not really followed through within this season imo. Is a really good show still, just not realising it's full potential YET for me. Really looking forward to the film though I would say with anime films, I haven't seen a ton of them but I don't think there is that many that are well regarded or popular, especially if you discount Studio Ghibli. So you might want to use them sparingly otherwise will run out if looking to do them for years to come.

the jjk slander 😪 lmao jk i agree tho, as a first time watcher it can be confusing and overwhelming w the amount of things they throw at you but, the other shows you were able to rewatch during editing and majority of them had multiple seasons out already so that probably helped. a lot of my opinions for this show didn’t form until i started reading the manga. i feel the reason you might not connect to itadori is because you don’t see him struggle as much as say tanjiro or eren and saitama is more of a parody making fun of other things. nonetheless, hyped for the movie on september 21st. enjoyed watching this w you again :)

little fun fact: itadori was actually supposed to be killed off after sukuna ripped out his heart. akutami had another character in mind
