You don't need to watch the MHA films, they are just added stories, not manga canon stuff so can skip them and lose nothing (I've never seen them). As far as anime film schedule it depends on how much time you want to give. An additional option could be that you start another series and then when you want to do a film you pause all anime series for that week and it would add up to around the same time and gives you more control of when you want to do the films whilst giving minimal disruption to the series. I think I said at the start of this rewatch that I preferred this more to Demon Slayer but I think I might take that back and say they are about equivalent for me. I feel like Demon Slayer lacks depth in storytelling but delivers heavily on hype and visual action. Whilst JJK has more depth in story just the plot development I don't think is the best. We have so many characters that we know very little about and yet they keep adding more. The villains and their action scenes don't have a huge amount of weight yet cus we don't really know them or their explicit intentions. Feels like a lot of stuff is setup and then just left for ages as well. Sukuna we basically haven't seen since they made the pact mid season, yet he is in theory the main "enemy" in the show and deeply connected to the main character. I think when we get more history to all these characters in later seasons then it will excel more for me.

It was a bit difficult to understand, but there was a curse spirit under the bridge, so people who went there (and met specific conditions like going under it at night and crossing the river) get marked by the spirit, so they have a curse technique placed upon them like a jinx or hex. The actual cursed spirit isn't killing them 20 years later, it's the cursed technique placed on them that is getting activated. Fushiguro was worried because that girl that met them said that she went under the bridge with his sister Tsumiki and she was starting to get the same signs that she could die like the other people. So they have to exorcise the cursed spirit to make sure that the hex doesn't activate and kill the girl and Tsumiki. The cursed technique would end if the cursed spirit that placed it was exorcised. Hope this helped.

The movies are considered canon for the show atleast, the manga author said it himself. .the 2nd MHA movie, heroes rising has one of the best animated fights ive ever seen and the best fight of the show imo.

That's fair enough. I know a lot of stuff is considered canon these days with anime additions, even though it tends to just be side story stuff like the AOT OVAs. Movies obviously should be better quality and have more of a story than each of those though. Just a thing of saying I don't think they are worth being a barrier for pausing watching the show as they aren't mandatory viewing
