“you’re a superhero” i just know you were thinking “but not chris evans” lol unfortunately that is all america has to offer at the moment. chris evans, peanut butter and playboys, what more could you want?? haha hopper is an absolute stud, man. cant wait to see more of him seb is out to box everyone in this show. a one man protection squad lmaoo this episode was good. so glad i caught up last night!! what a turn mid episode, a good reminder as to why i started this show. like you said, they really know how to make great TV. an out of body experience along w the sound design is absolutely chefs kiss. sadie (max) performance in this episode alone was killer and deserves an award, i was speechless. always loved and felt like i resonated w her character a little. the clock sound will never fail to give me chills! also if you grew up in hawaii or near the beach i know you know that song that was playing during the pizza shoot out haha

These were really great episodes. I know they are long episodes but they feel like mini-films each one. The 4th episode was particularly good with Max and the backstory of the guy in the hospital as well was pretty good itself. I dunno how Hopper is supposed to get out of that now, I guess Enzo will have to join the team which would be cool. Fuck Yuri! I think I've only had Peanut Butter once when someone gave it to me at their house. I also feel weird for having it so little considering how often people go on about it. Also can't wait for El to get her powers back, get some action on the go against Vecna. I guess we will also have to see what the jocks will do, they are bound to mess it up at a key moment. The show is masterfully put together though with all it does, can tell the effort put into it.

I would also agree that this episode is absolutely top tier television. Not just top tier ST, too tier overall tv. And like someone else already said, the end was absolutely one of the best analogies put to screen of mental health struggles I’ve ever seen, which really put it over the top for being an outstanding production. You have the action, you have the laughs, you have some scares- and it’s got the emotion as well. A++

Who doesn’t have Running Up That Hill on repeat play at this stage? When Max hits the ground and gasps “I’m still here”, I felt a swell of emotion almost bursting through my chest, for what it symbolised for Max’s mental health but also sheer relief from the INSANE tension Shawn Levy had built up towards the end. It’s actually been really interesting watching YTers reacting to this episode in particular. Some of them have been flat out sobbing and even those who would typically be kind of flat emotionally when watching stuff have been bowled over by it. A masterpiece of a tv episode.

Stranger Things is like a time machine back to my middle and high school years. I love it soooo much. Born in 71 myself and moved to California from Virginia for 8th and 9th grades. Also, spent lots of angsty hours listening to Kate Bush and Depeche Mode trying to figure out why I was getting so jealous when my best friend spent more time with his gf than me. So, I am Will basically. This show captures my soul. 😊 Also, Vecna is scary as crap.

Seb, just in case you didn't realize it: Lucas led the pitchfork squad to Hopper's cabin, not to the actual place where Eddie was. he was sticking with them that whole time to gain intel and find the opportune moment to bounce and get back to his friends. I never doubted Lucas for a moment; he's always been the most loyal of the gang.

Current Victor was played by the same actor who was Freddy from Nightmare on Elm Street... pretty cool imo Particularly when it's about waking nightmares so Vecna and Freddy are very similar :P
